You are bidding on a fabulous, authentic original German poster from World War I. The poster was made in Germany to try to spark sales of a new War Loan.
The poster says:
"Die neue Kriegsanleihe muss erfolgreich sein, sonst ermutigen wir England weiterzukämpfen!" The new war loan must be successful if Germany is to be victorious.
German World War l poster calls to draw war bonds. Written in a "Fraktur" typeface.

The poster is approximately 27" high and 19" wide. The poster remains in very good condition. Has been folded into quarters.
This poster is over 100 years old!!!
These antique posters are quite rare and very collectible.
