    Description

    Hand written letter from famous golf writer and golfer Bernard Darwin to golf writer Pat Ward-Thomas on light blue paper that is approx. 4 1/2" x 7" and is in very good condition with a horizontal fold from mailing.  Letter is dated January 14, 1958.  This letter was purchased with the correspondence files of golf writer Pat Ward-Thomas that I purchased over 25 years ago at a U.K golf auction.  That lot of Darwin correspondence had several letters from Bernard Darwin, all but just a few were signed with initials B.D.  Only a couple had the full Darwin Signature.
