    On 15 December 2017 GBRf completed the acquisition of ten surplus Class 66 locomotives from DB Cargo UK, one of which was 66008, which had originally arrived in the UK on 3 October 1998. Renumbered to 66780 on 11 September 2018, the locomotive was the last of the ten to be repainted, leaving Eastleigh Arlington in a new silver/blue Cemex livery and on 12 June 2019, 66780 was named 'The Cemex Express' at a dedicated naming ceremony held at Dove Holes Quarry near Buxton, being unveiled at the event by Pete Waterman.
