Military Hero Paul Von Hindenberg WWI Iron Cross marked KPM Berlin Portrait Cup. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail with USPS International Shipping also available on this item. The item is in an excellent state considering it is basically 100 years old. It does have one condition issue that came in its making. There is gold skipping on one side of the cups top rim as shown in the last picture. This is not damage from chipping or rubbing, it was done at the time it was made. This Elaborate KPM Berlin Portrait Cup of German Military Hero Paul Von Hindenbergs condition is "Used". The item is in an excellent state considering it is basically 100 years old. It was made to celebrate Von Hindenberg, who served as the Chief of the German General Staff in WWI and later Germany's President from 1925 - 1934.
Beautifully hand decorated embellishment of rich gold laurel wreath around the portrait, The pieces are marked to the underside with the red orb and cross mark, a blue scepter, and a black iron cross next to KPM and black painters marks indicating production by the Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur from the 1914-1918 period of production. Again excellent condition, free from chips, cracks and repairs other than the aforemention skip to the gold from time of manufacture. Cup: 5.5" tall with a 3 5/8" diameter rim.
