    Description

    Moorcroft English Pottery Covered Round Box in the "Hibiscus" Pattern, c. 1960
    A wonderful Moorcroft England pottery covered round box in the "Hibiscus" pattern. It has a green background with a deeper green/ blue colour on the box interior. The exterior shows colourful flowers in red, yellow and purple with green leaves.
    It is signed on the underside of the lid and the underside of the box. Both the  box and lid are stamped "Made in England" and "Moorcroft" with the initial "K" in green paint.
    The box is 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The box and lid stand 3 inches tall.
    There is some slight paint loss on the rim of the lid and rim of the box but, overall, the piece is in very good condition.
