About Me:
I take great pride in providing quality hoops at an affordable price. I am a stay at home mother of fourwho has been hooping since I was a kid. I learned to make hoops in 2007 after I took a local hoopdance class. I am dedicated to making flawless hoops and inventing new hoop designs with interesting materials (ask me about leather hoops or reflective glowing hoops at dancehoops.com). I thoroughly enjoy every hoop I make - they are filled with my excitement for hooping and my gratitude for choosing me to make your hoop! Best wishes in your hooping journey.
Why Hula Hoop?
It is a great exercise regimen that can help you burn up to 600 calories in an hour!
Depending on where you hoop, you can have a complete body workout!
Waist hooping helps to tighten the abs, hips, thighs, and aids in digestion.
The best reason to hoop is that it makes you feel and look great.
Polypro/HDPE or PE?
This is something you may be asking yourself if you've never purchased a hoop online before. Each has their respective benefits.
Polypro/HDPE hoops:
They are very lightweight and springy. The lighter the hoop, the harder the spinner has to push it around so it offers the maximum caloric workout!
It is great for doing tricks or tosses because it is small and springy.
PE hoops:
These are heavier hoops which make learning hooping a bit easier. If you cannot keep up a store-bought hoop or never learned to hoop before I recommend a PE hoop (black 1" OD tubing). This will get you started with the movement and then you can get a Polypro/HDPE to drill in the fast hooping if that is what you desire. Many customers of mine are happy sticking with a PE hoop since it is a great core workout and like the massaging effect of the larger/heavier hoop.
