    Thanks for choosing Workoutz! This semi-round will definitely serve its purpose but is being discounted because it is not fully moulded. It appears that the manufacturer took a regular foam roller and cut it down the middle to make two semi-round halves. The problem is the part that was cut tends to shed a little because it is unsealed. There may be an easy solution to deal with the shedding but the item is being sold as a defective roller for this reason.
